Camie’s Bakery and Restaurant has been a fixture in the Cambridge, MA culinary community for nearly a quarter century.
Camie’s first opened its doors on December 31, 1992 as the first Haitian bakery in Cambridge where residents were introduced to traditional Caribbean baked goods and confectionery treats such as sweet potato and molasses breads, cookies and special occasion cakes.
Camie’s quickly thrived as a neighborhood bakery delighting Cantabrigians with unique pastries and sweets and the item that would soon put Camie’s “on the map”- her scrumptious patties, a delectable savory fish/meat-filled turnover that is one of a kind in flavor.
